Built-Up Roofing system (BUR) is one of the oldest and most reliable commercial roofing systems. These roof systems often referred to as "tar and gravel" roofs. BUR consists of multiply plies of roof felts laminated together with bitumen.

Over the years Built-Up Roofing has earned a great reputation with building owners, roofing products, roofing product manufacturers and commercial roofing contractors.

The cost of BUR system may be greater than other flat roof applications but taking the lost-lasting, BUR system is favourite one.

SBS Modified Bitumen (Styrene Butadiene Styrene)

Modified Bitumen Roofing is an asphalt base, close cousin of Built-Up Roof designed for buildings with flat roof structures. It has been with us enough to stand the test of time. It has an increased resistance, elasticity at cold, hot temperatures.It comes in a broad range of applications methods. It can be installed by the torch-application method, "hot-mopped" or "called process". Lately the Modified Bitumen is coming with a self-adhering sheet. This method is used when the use of torches, hot asphalt are a risk.
