A residential roofing system must be outfitted with a metal soffit, fascia, eaves trough and downpipe. The soffit exists at the perimeter of the roof allowing air to pass through the roof structure for necessary ventilation. The fascia flashes the perimeter hiding the exposed wood structure and protecting it from weather elements. The eaves trough and downpipe collect the runoff water from the roof and move it to an appropriate location.
